Design Systems Group's Service Department is available to handle any special systems issues 24-hours a day, year around. The Service Department consists of 6 Service Technicians, 1 Technician Apprentice, 2 Inspection Teams, 1 Service Coordinator and 1 Service Manager. Combined, this department possesses over 125 years of combined experience in the installation and service of fire systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, intercom systems, nurse call systems and security intrusion systems. Design Systems Group Service Department provides our services to some of the largest entities and facilities along the Central Texas skyline. Our staff is professional in dress and in their interactions and can perform services in the most stringent requirements. In addition, we are distinguished to be the only special systems company in central Texas to offer DSG AccuScan. Our 24 hour service will ensure that all emergency calls are handled timely and proficiently.
Service Contacts
Donnie has been actively involved in the systems technology industry for over 11 years as an Installer, Project Manager, Management, Partner and Owner. He has been partners in one company that specialized in security and CCTV systems for large industrial, commercial and institutional customers and then as sole proprietor for a similar company that focused primarily on the small to mid-range security, CCTV and access control systems for commercial applications. Donnie has planned, project managed, and been completely responsible for large systems installations to include the Bill Clayton Juvenile Detention Facility in Littlefield, Texas. Likewise, Donnie assisted in the development and design of the site security plan and CCTV system for the Iraqi Special Tribunal Building in Baghdad, Iraq which was the location of the Saddam Hussein trial. Donnie's expertise includes security, access control, CCTV, fire alarm and structured wiring.
Donnie is licensed by the State of Texas as an Alarm Installer and currently holds his Security Manager's license from the Department of Pubic Safety.
Jesse has been in the systems technology industry for over 16 years. He started his career as an installation helper and has worked his way through the ranks. He has been involved in the installation and management of many projects including the CCTV and security system and fire alarm installation at facilities such as the JC Penney Corporate Headquarters in Plano, Texas, retrofit of the CCTV system at USAA Insurance in San Antonio, Texas, fiber optics upgrade for the CCTV system and fire alarm system installation at the K-Mart Distribution Center in Corsicana, Texas and lead technician at IBM Austin, in charge of all CCTV and security systems at the main plant and business offices. He has also been involved in many other smaller projects. Jesse moved into service coordination and management in 1998.
Jesse has been licensed as a Fire Alarm Technician by the Texas State Fire Marshals Office since 1997 and a Security Manager by the Department of Public Safety.
