Sales Department
The sales team at DSG is an outstanding group of hard working, committed and professional individuals. We have industry wide and unmatched experience with design, consulting, budgeting and estimating of special systems for a wide verity of facilities.

Larry has been in the special systems business for over 25 years. He has been involved in all aspects of the business including service, installation, design and management. His expertise includes plan and specification projects as well as design-build. Larry has participated in a range of large projects such as medical centers, detention facilities, schools, high-tech industry and high-rises of all types including office, hotel and condominiums. His systems expertise includes fire alarm, sound, nurse call and security systems.
Larry is NICET Level III, Texas Planners Licensed, and State Licensed Security Manager for DSG.
In the course of a diverse career with DSG, Sean Chandler has proven to be a skilled accounts representative, visionary manager and competent trouble-shooter and turnaround expert. From the beginning of DSG, Inc. Sean has worked from the ground up as a technician, lead technician, project manager, service manager, and service sales manager on projects both large and small. This variety of experience with DSG has given Sean a unique insight and understanding of the life safety industry. Sean is a competent asset for your life safety remodel or new projects.
Sean holds a fire alarm planner’s license with the State of Texas, has achieved Level III certification in fire alarm by NICET, and has attained numerous fire alarm and security factory certifications.
Adam specializes in service-sales with an emphasis on preventive maintenance, test and inspection, and system expansion. He holds a Texas Board of Security Sales License, Texas Fire Alarm License, and NICET certification is pending.
Design Department
Design/Systems Austin Group, Inc.’s integrates a versatile young department responsible for producing working drawings, record drawings, submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, and calculations. They maintain constant interaction with the installation department, sales department, and service departments as well as our customers in all phases of a project to ensure communication, consistency, and code compliance are adhered to. The design department at Design Systems Group Austin is proficient in the layout of many types of systems including; Fire, Security, CCTV, Intercom, Nurse Call, Access Control, and many more.
Altogether we are an active department striving to design multiple types of systems in a timely manner using the latest in software technology, training, experience, and hard work.

Shannon has been an employee of Design
Systems Group Austin since May 2000 gaining diverse experience within the industry.
Starting in the installation, he later moved to service, and
now runs the design department. This allowed time to dedicate intense effort in attaining a Bachelors of Interior Architecture from Kansas State University. After graduation he added to his resume by working for an architecture firm in Wichita, Kansas for one year while continuing to do contract work for Design Systems Group Austin.
Shannon has a Bachelors of Interior Architecture, LEED AP, licensed State of Texas Fire Alarm Technician and is VESDA trained and certified.
Service Department
Design Systems Group's Service Department is available to handle any special systems issues 24-hours a day, year around. The Service Department has years of experience in the installation and service of fire systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, intercom systems, nurse call systems and security intrusion systems. Design Systems Group Service Department provides our services to some of the largest entities and facilities along the Central Texas skyline. Our staff is professional in dress and in their interactions and can perform services in the most stringent requirements. In addition, we are distinguished to be the only special systems company in central Texas to offer DSG AccuScan. Our 24 hour service will ensure that all emergency calls are handled timely and proficiently.
Installation
Design Systems Group provides complete turnkey installations of all the electronic systems we sell through our own in-house Installation Department. The department employs many of the area’s most talented and dedicated individuals as managers, project managers, field managers, technicians, foremen, and installers.
Our installation department utilizes its experienced and skilled personnel to timely deliver quality installations of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, school sound & intercom, and nurse call systems to the satisfaction of our customers.
